TestBuild02 Reflection
I think this first prototype ultimately proved to me that the ideas and core gameplay loop is well thought out and expandable.
The question of whether or not the game is cozy, or the idea can be cozy I think was answered, although more work would need to be done to finalize these feelings and ensure the satisfying nature of the task is well explored.
From here on, I would love to expand on my world-building and level-design, now that I have most of the core gameplay elements implemented minus a few like;
- Dust Regeneration
- Clumping and Discarding
- Movable Objects or Furniture
- Further Upgrades, and expansion of the idea; hand-dusting, vacuum, etc.
For my first 3D Project, I feel the task was extremely fun to learn about, and implementing these different functionalities and creating creative ways to emulate these functions were a challenging, but inviting task.
Although I answered my question above, there are a ton of stipulations about the idea, and the current state of the game that doesn't make it cozy, which are things I'd love to continue working on and improving on.
With this basis as a start, I'm excited to see how much further I can take it!
PS: I apologize for the poor video, I promise I know how to use OBS correctly lol.
